Sinai, often thought to be named after the ancient god of the moon Sin, the mere mention of the name evokes mysterious thoughts enshrouded with religious awe. The ancient monastery of St. Catherine, oldest Christian monastery in the world, where inside its walls lives the Burning Bush, shown to Moses when he asked for a sign from the Almighty. Mt. Sinai, upon whose slopes did Moses commune with God and receive from him the 10 commandments. When Moses parted the Red Sea to lead his people out of Egypt, it was onto her shores that he led them.
If one stops for a moments contemplation, looking out upon its incredible vistas and the clear pristine weather of an early morning sunrise, one can be transported back in time to imagine what it must have been like, and shudder. It’s raw and unforgiving landscape, has a savage beauty to it that is breath taking. The local nomadic Bedouins survive much in the same way they have since the beginning, fired and tempered in the forge that is this land, the hawk like countenance of their warrior ancestors lying just beneath the surface. It’s a place that can take you back to a simpler time in life.

5 nights 6 days

You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning, and we will drive down to the Sinai via the Suez tunnel and from there we will be taking the less travelled road to Nuwieba and on to Dahab a rustic little sea side village where we check in to the hotel and then go to enjoy a nice evening meal on the sea shore and can do some bargaining with the colourful local people and then an early night. The following morning we will travel to the infamous “blue hole” where we will spend a few hours snorkelling or diving, which ever you prefer and then we will head for Sharm el Shiekh, arriving with the setting sun, once checked in there are a myriad of night life activities to partake in, sharm el sheikh is equivalent to the las Vegas of Egypt. The next day will be an option day of either a day on a boat or a day on the beaches of ras Mohamed, a protected national park. We will have an early evening as we will be making a very early start to go and see the St. Catherine Monastery on mount Sinai, fabled spot where Moses received the ten commandments from god. From the there we will travel to the old town of el Tur and see the sacred springs of Moses. And then back to sharm el sheikh for another quiet evening. The next day will entail a lounging day on the beach with a fun filled night. The next day we depart back to Cairo.

You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning, and we will drive down to the Sinai via the Suez tunnel and from there we will be taking the less travelled road to Nuwieba and on to Dahab a rustic little sea side village to enjoy a nice evening meal on the sea shore. Then we will head for Sharm el Shiekh, arriving in the evening, once checked in there are a myriad of night life activities to partake in, sharm el sheikh is equivalent to the las Vegas of Egypt.
